Job Title: Senior Sales Executive (Shipping and Freight Forwarding Industry) - MALE
I. Job Summary:
Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned market (i.e. lead generation, account management, after-sales support, events, sales calls etc.). Works hand in hand with other team members to achieve maximum profitability and growth in line with vision and values of the Company. Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and contributes to the development of training and educational programs for clients and other Sales Executives.
II. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for attending to sales inquiries, export and import bookings.
• Attend to inquiries regarding freight forwarding, brokerage and other services that include but not limited to processing of necessary documents.
• Responsible for cultivating corporate accounts assigned by Management.
• Responsible for bringing in new corporate accounts via cold calls or sales calls.
• Responsible for achieving sales target.
• Service current and new clients regarding fleet requirements.
• Monitoring work progress and keeping in contact with clients at all stages (PM skills)
• Deliver reports/final proposals for review by Management.
• Ad-hoc responsibilities such as financial and administrative reports.
• Closely work with Customer Service to ensure accuracy and timeliness of bookings.
• Willing to travel due to sales calls.
• Perform other tasks as assigned or required.
• Willing to be based in Makati City.
III. Job Requirements:
a. Education
• Requires a degree in Business or Marketing or other any related field
b. Experience
• With at least 1 year in shipping, freight forwarding, brokerage and export and import.
c. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Has good understanding of shipping/ freight forwarding, brokerage industry and competition.
• Excellent sales skills and has in-depth knowledge of sales techniques and concepts.
• Pleasing demeanor and charming personality.
• Creativity, flexibility, adaptability and resourcefulness in performing tasks.
• Meticulous, organized and keen to details.
• Has a sense of urgency to work and solve issues under pressure.
• Proactive in seeking support needs from internal partners.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Able to foster and maintain effective working relationship within the department and collaborate among other departments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications-Word, Excel & PowerPoint
