Seeking: Linux Systems Engineer, Makati City in Makati City, National Capital Region

Knowledge and Skills Required
Strong skills in UNIX/Linux administration.
Knowledge of Linux Internals and/or device drivers, memory management, and network driver mechanics.
Background in all of the following: UNIX System Administration, Data security, and Storage systems.
Knowledgeable in cryptography and encryption technologies/approaches.
Comfortable with organizing and developing projects on-site and with customers.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and verbal/written communication skills.
Must be highly motivated and a self-starter.
Excellent problem solving abilities and attention to detail.
Accountable and meet expectations with minimal supervision.
Strong scripting skills.
Position Responsibilities
Day to day management of multiple Linux systems – patching, updating, backup/restore, etc…
Integrating customer data systems with internal database functions –scripting, files transfers, automation.
Project work as necessary.
Troubleshooting system, kernel, communications, network issues from a systems view.
Providing forward looking designs for new systems and integrations.
To be a good fit for this Sr. Systems Engineer – Linux position, you need to have the following:
At least 5 years of past experience in Linux administration.
At least five years of experience with networking and/or security devices.
Deep knowledge of BIND, TCP/IP, Internet routing, IP security required.
