Overall Responsibility
The Area Coordinator is responsible for recruiting independent panels for its specific region, dispatch and collecting data for all panels in its specific region.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
A.Quality
Provide timely and accurate feedback to the Area Manger on the major performance areas of the Field team including collection status, retailer complaints, recruitment status, operational issues, data, panel and other day-to-day issues
Maintain positive working relationships and open communication with his/her direct Manager
Provide timely and reliable updates to the Area Manager for possible market development changes including: new products or new product categories, channels, retailer profiles, brand activities, trends and other relevant information.
Fully responsible to ensure full understanding of all GfK tools & software used
Ensure full knowledge of GfK retail audit methodologies and definitions, fully understand and apply the data control procedures and techniques, as documented by the GfK Asia Production department, ensure consistent data output and thoroughly understand the product manual.
Ensure full knowledge of all field processes as documented in the Field Manual.
Fully responsible for all assigned tasks delegated by the Area Manger (including ad-hoc studies, trade survey studies, universe checks etc)
Fully responsible for product data quality
Fully responsible to ensure correct audit sheets are sent to the retailers monthly.
Ensure full knowledge of the Company’s quality standards are achieved for sample targets, data entry deadlines, data control procedures and feature quality.
Ensure successful recruitment and retention of independent retailers in line with the objectives set by the Field Manager.
Responsible for ensuring data quality by conducting regular quality analysis
Ensure the timely submission of monthly market reports per agreed schedule outlined by the Field Manager.
Maintain up to date market knowledge on all product categories audited by undertaking regular market visits, at least once a week, to keep abreast of the current and future market offerings, and regularly performing model comparisons to build a high level of product knowledge.
Keep up to date on changes in the universe by product category by regular market observation checks, desk research etc.
Understand the channel definition, track existing channels and monitor the development of new channels.
B.Data Encoding
Encode all Audit Sheets collected from retailers, following the approved format implemented by GfK
Communicate with South Luzon Area Manager constantly to apprise her of any matters relative to the encoding process
Follow the GfK’s instructions with respect to the encoding process
Re-do work/reviews if warranted, or upon instruction of your immediate Manager and/or the client at no cost to the Company
Immediately enforce new rules/modifications on the work process as may be instructed by your immediate Manager and/or the client
